Arriving back home in 2001 after a delightful stint at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, GA, I began my work with the County of Henrico—pioneering online video for the county, creating Flash animations, and delivering multi-department web design. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working on an incredible range of projects—from designing Val-Pak ads to illustrating custom children’s books for Virginia DEQ.

My journey has always been about finding the sweet spot between creativity and practicality—often under tight deadlines, tight budgets, or tech limitations. No matter the challenge, I’ve consistently delivered thoughtful, high-quality work with a strong commitment to reliability and service.

Over the years, I’ve partnered with organizations like Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Girl Scouts of America, the American Lung Association of Baltimore, Virginia DEQ, and CVWMA, as well as numerous local businesses and small nonprofits. Each client, project, and team left their mark shaping me as a media designer and problem-solver.

After 25 years as a professional and freelance consultant, I’m entering a new season with a full-time role at Habitat for Humanity-Powhatan helping to promote safe and affordable housing in my community. I love having a mission-minded job! Still, I am an artist at heart—and I’m eager to revive my passion for watercolor and papercraft. I aim to blend digital media and fine arts into a creative boutique online. It’s a fresh chapter built on decades of experience, and I can’t wait to share more details soon.

Stay tuned—there’s more to come
